People who talk about net neutrality and public resources often miss this important point. Imagine if a precondition to connecting a server to the public internet was an agreement to provide equal access and opportunity to all people regardless of their race, nationality, socioeconomic status or IP address. In cases such as these, the correct course of action is not a technical work around but political change. For example sharing is an activity that turns out to be illegal when it comes to proprietary software, digital video and music. There are many things that are illegal which aren't necessarily immoral. NordVPN has been working perfectly until now, but these days Netflix and especially and HBO Nordic keep picking it up. Both me and my parents live in the EU, northern Europe. Thanks for the reply! It's no more illegal than using VPN with Netflix to watch another countries content. Its because what you want is illegal in the countries that block VPN. NordVPN and other services are out, since their connections are detected these days and most content refuses to play. So please, help me get my parents all their local shows abroad. I'm able to get the OpenVPN-connection running, but then when I start setting up the connections and IPtables and all that, it always stops connecting all together. I've tried just about all tutorials and how to guides but none seem to work perfectly. I've bought a USB Ethernet adapter as a secondary ethernet connection to my Pi and it works fine, so I'd like to use only wired connections. I'd like to take my other Pi to their place abroad and connect it between the router and the Apple TV so, that the Apple TV connects to my VPN server via the new Pi working as a VPN client. My home connection is a 1000/100, so there's plenty of bandwidth for them to use as wellīut now I'm a bit lost. My parents connect to it with their computers using Tunnelblick and everything runs smoothly. I've previously set up a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ as a VPN server at my place and it works just fine. They live abroad and would like to use their Apple TV with my (their home country) local content. I'm trying to setup a Raspberry Pi 3B to my parents house.
